Heidi Williams is a physical therapist assistant at University Orthopaedic Associates (UOA). She received her Bachelor’s of Health and Physical Education from West Chester University and a Certification in Massage Therapy from the Ocean Massage Institute. She received her A.A.S. Degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program from Union County College. Heidi is also certified through NASM as a Personal Trainer. 

For the first 15 years of her career, Heidi worked both as a Physical Therapist Assistant and a part time Massage Therapist. In 2016, she shifted her concentration to continued work as a Physical Therapist Assistant in addition to a part time Personal Trainer. Heidi joined the team at UOA with over 29 years of clinical experience in Physical Therapy. Her work encompasses various settings including inpatient acute care hospital, home care and her primary focus on outpatient orthopaedics. Her combined knowledge and interests, especially with various hands on soft tissue techniques as well as therapeutic exercise, has led her to UOA to work with the dynamic team of Physical Therapists to provide individualized treatment plans for optimum outcomes. 

In her personal life, Heidi loves to spend her free time with her family and friends. She loves to travel, exercise and spoil her dog. Professionally, she is now solely concentrating on work as a Physical Therapist Assistant and plans to continue her professional and educational growth with a concentration in outpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation.
