About Joseph Abadir

Joseph Abadir, DPT has over six years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. He has taken continuing education courses including Kinesio Taping, dry needling, and instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization. His treatment approach involves using manual techniques to help promote better movement patterns, specific exercise prescription to improve ROM, strength, and control and providing patient education so that patient understands their diagnosis and how physical therapy plan of care will help them in their road to recovery. He believes that effective communication between patient and physical therapist is paramount to exceptional outcomes and achieving goals set up as a team.

Joseph is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and stays current on literature and most recent studies. He is planning on becoming an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in the near future.

Joseph grew up in East Brunswick and attended East Brunswick High School. He played soccer and basketball during his youth on travel teams. He continues to play and coach recreationally.

During his free time, Joseph spends time with his family and friends. He enjoys going to concerts, working out, and traveling.
