About Stephen Pavoni
Stephen Pavoni PT, DPT obtained his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stockton University. Before attending Stockton, Steve graduated from Montclair State University with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. As a board certified Physical Therapist, he joined the UOA team in the spring of 2021. Prior to working at UOA, he held various PT positions in several inpatient and outpatient facilities throughout southern and central New Jersey.
Steve has an interest in all areas of Physical Therapy, but he is especially interested in sports injuries and recoveries, and the impact on the overall orthopaedic structure of the body. As an athlete of hockey, track and football for his entire life, Steve enjoys helping get patients “back in the game,” and doing what they love.
Steve pays close attention to all of his patients’ concerns, he develops customized programs that incorporate a variety of approaches and he is persistent in achieving these goals. He truly believes that a strong treatment plan requires a team approach, and he looks forward to working with you to help you return to your day to day tasks and passions. Outside of work, Steve enjoys a healthy exercise routine, being part of an adult hockey league, working outdoors, hiking and fishing.
