About Vincent Petracco

Vincent (Vinnie) Petracco is a graduate of Rutgers University where he obtained his doctorate in physical therapy in 2017. Prior to attending Rutgers University, he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Monmouth University. After his schooling, Vinnie then joined the Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Excellence in 2017.

Vinnie’s treatment philosophy is to provide the most direct and specific care possible to his patients. Vinnie collaborates with his patients to ensure all of their goals are met during treatment. He has experience treating a variety of orthopaedic injuries but enjoys working with athletes who have lower extremity injuries.

Vinnie has 11 years of military experience and is still an active member of the United States Coast Guard Reserve, stationed in nearby Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. He completed a prestigious internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. During his tenure there, he performed research and developed a return-to-run protocol for patients with unilateral below-knee amputations.

In his personal time, Vinnie is an avid runner and triathlete. He enjoys spending free time with his wife and son fishing, hiking and traveling.
