About Lindsey Balint

Lindsey Balint is a physical therapist at UOA who has over 10 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. She has treated everyone from young athletes to the young-at-heart for post-surgical, acute and chronic conditions. Lindsey enjoys getting people back to what they enjoy doing.

Lindsey attended Rowan University, where she earned a bachelor of arts in health and exercise science with a specialization in athletic training. She discovered she enjoyed the rehabilitation process and went on to complete her doctorate in physical therapy at Rutgers University (formerly the joint program with The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey). In 2015 Lindsey became certified in The McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, a method of assessment and treatment of spinal and extremity pain.

Lindsey has worked with UOA’s director of physical therapy Dino Pinciotti, PT, from 2009 to 2015 in his Princeton location, evaluating and treating patients as well as working with the American Repertory Ballet company dancers.

Lindsey is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She believes good communication between the therapist, patient and physician leads to the best outcomes and she takes an individualized manual and functional approach to her treatment techniques. She has taken continuing education courses that include manual treatment for orthopedic conditions, Kinesio Taping, women’s health and incorporating yoga techniques into physical therapy.

Lindsey grew up in Milltown and in high school competed as a track and field athlete. When not at work Lindsey enjoys traveling, yoga and going on local adventures with her two children.
