About Lindsey Balint

Lindsey Balint is a physical therapist at UOA with over 15 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. She has treated everyone from young athletes to the young-at-heart for post-surgical, acute, and chronic conditions. Lindsey enjoys helping people return to the activities they love.

Lindsey attended Rowan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in health and exercise science with a specialization in athletic training. She discovered her passion for the rehabilitation process and went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Rutgers University (formerly the joint program with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey). In 2015, Lindsey became certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, a method of assessment and treatment for spinal and extremity pain. More recently, she completed training and certification in dry needling to further expand her manual treatment skills.

Lindsey believes good communication between the therapist, patient, and physician leads to the best outcomes. She takes an individualized manual and functional approach to treatment and has completed continuing education courses in manual therapy for orthopedic conditions, Kinesio Taping, women’s health, and incorporating yoga techniques into physical therapy.

Lindsey grew up in Milltown and competed in track and field in high school. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and going on local adventures with her two children.
