Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and limitations through assessments and examinations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Experience in a hospital or outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • 30-minute follow-up with UOA patients
  • Assists with treating patients for coverage purposes as needed
  • Interpret the results of the Body Composition Testing for clients who have this service completed (same day read of results)
  • Communicates with patient, families, referring physicians and other members of the team
  • Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements
  • Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis

We are looking for a professional individual of great character, strong work ethic, flexibility, a willingness to learn with a commitment to excellence.

Candidate must also have general knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and therapeutic exercises. We are willing to train candidates who do not have experience. If you are interested in becoming a Physical Therapist Aide we would be interested in speaking with you!  Candidate must have flexible schedule to work 2 to 3 evenings and cover as needed. This is a full time year round position, not seasonal.

We’re seeking an Athletic Trainer (ATC)/ Physician Extender to join our dynamic team. This full-time role involves floating between our conveniently located Avenel/ Somerset Office locations!

To qualify, you must be a state licensed Athletic Trainer (ATC). A minimum of one (1) year of previous Orthopedic Athletic Trainer (ATC) experience, is preferred.

Responsibilities: The ATC/ Physicians Extender will assist the Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in various aspects of patients’ medical treatment and care. The ATC will maintain the exam rooms and equipment and ensure the orderly flow of the physician’s patient schedule.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting area to the exam room; prepares patient for their examination or treatment; obtains pertinent medical information from patient
  • Assist physician in the removal & application of casts, change dressings, remove staples & sutures, & ultrasound machines
