A farmer, competitive wrestler, coach and licensed athletic trainer—needless to say, UOA patient Chuck lives a very physical life. But that was interrupted by debilitating back pain. Having undergone a multi-level lumbar fusion surgery with Dr. Gino Chiappetta, Chuck has made it back to all his activities, in addition to completing a seven-hour per day, multi-day hiking trip. “Dr. Chiappetta has a great orientation to athletes,” says Chuck. “Because of him, I’m back to where I wanted to be.” Hear Chuck tell his story.
