Mary Anne was having issues using her arm and shoulder when doing regular activities like typing on her computer and hanging up towels in the bathroom. She went to Dr. James Monica at University Orthopaedic Associates (UOA) who recognized her damaged rotator cuff and arthritis in the shoulder and recommended a total reverse shoulder replacement. After her surgery, Kristine Kilbride, a physical therapist at UOA followed Dr. Monica’s protocol with Mary Anne to get her range of motion back. She has made a full recovery and can now “do the things that she wants to do.”
