UOA’s Dr. Aman Dhawan made three poster presentations at the 23rd Congress of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and Elbow (ESSSE), held September 14-17 in Lyon, France. The presentations focused on “A Prospective Randomized Trial of Acromioplasty in Patients Undergoing Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair: Preliminary Results,” MRI Evaluation of Normal Glenoid Height and Width: an Anatomic Study,” and “Clinical Outcomes of Total Shoulder Arthroplasty in Patients Under the Age of 50.” The ESSSE promotes scientific cooperation and “provides for continuing training of European orthopaedic surgeons specialized in surgery of the shoulder and elbow in order to contribute to the development of the physiological, pathological and therapeutic study of those joints.”
