From start to finish, my experience with University Orthopaedic Associates was excellent. When I first called to make my appointment, the woman who helped me was friendly, patient, and very helpful — a great first impression.
When I arrived for my visit, the front desk staff was warm and welcoming. They even thanked me for completing my paperwork online, which was a nice and thoughtful gesture.
Dr. Doumas’ nurse was also very kind and made me feel at ease. The X-ray technician was professional and efficient, and everything moved along smoothly.
Dr. Doumas was outstanding — he took the time to show me my X-rays, explain exactly what was going on with my shoulder, and performed a thorough exam. His clear communication and attention made me feel confident in the care I was receiving.
After the visit, I emailed to request access to the patient portal, and Erica Reyes, the EMR Manager, responded immediately with clear instructions. She was also friendly and professional.
Overall, the staff at University Orthopaedic Associates was far more friendly and professional than what I’ve experienced at Seaview Orthopaedics. Hopefully, I won’t need too many appointments in the future — but if I do, I’ll be more than happy to return, knowing I’ll be treated with such kindness and respect.
