About Ben Glider

Ben graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science before continuing to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2017. Ben received his Selective Functional Movement Assessment certification in December of 2018 to further streamline his ability to assess and treat sports medicine and orthopaedic conditions.

Ben’s background in high school soccer and collegiate rugby allows him to understand the rigors and requirements of competitive sports and the injuries that are often associated with them. Ben worked closely with sports medicine surgeons in Morris County treating patients post ACL/PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff/labrum repair, etc. before moving down to the New Brunswick area and joining the University Orthopaedic Associates team. Ben believes in tailoring treatment to his athletes’ specific needs to return to high-level competition. Ben enjoys treating all pathologies but has a passion for sports medicine.

Ben was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and is a proud supporter all of his Philadelphia professional sports teams. In his free time, Ben enjoys going to the gym, golfing, hiking, skiing, and doing anything outdoors.
