About Carrie Schick

Carrie Shick is a physical therapist assistant at University Orthopaedic Associates (UOA). Carrie graduated from Mercer County College with an Associate of Applied Science degree and has been a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) since 2022. Carrie’s career has included roles in marketing, sales and fitness. Her love of fitness led her to become an experienced yoga teacher with over a decade of teaching all populations and fitness levels. Carrie is also a NASM certified personal trainer. It is her love of movement that ultimately inspired the transition to becoming a PTA.

Carrie believes in taking evidence-based approaches to treatment and is thrilled to be in an outpatient environment that shares her values like UOA and the Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Excellence. A life-long student, Carrie loves to continuously learn through educational courses in the physical therapy and yoga realm and also has a strong interest in public policy affecting the healthcare platform. Carrie plans to pursue this interest further through ongoing education at Rutgers University.

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her husband and two dogs, listening to podcasts, reading, organizing closets and is happy to binge watch every limited series on Netflix.
