Dana is a Physical Therapist Assistant at University Orthopaedic Associates (UOA). She graduated with honors from Mercer County College, earning an Associate of Applied Science degree. Prior to her career in physical therapy, Dana spent over 15 years in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, during which she also operated her own small business.

Dana has enjoyed working with diverse populations and fitness levels throughout her fitness career, continuously researching to ensure her clients achieve their desired results. Her passion for learning inspired her to return to school and pursue a career as a PTA, allowing her to help an even broader range of individuals. Dana finds her work as a PTA in an outpatient facility rewarding, especially as she witnesses patients making progress.

She takes pride in being part of a company that employs evidence-based treatment interventions, knowing that this approach helps patients recover more quickly. To enhance her skills in the clinic, Dana has gone above and beyond the required continuing education courses, attending in-person lectures offered by different providers.

In her personal life, Dana enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their dog. She loves listening to health and wellness podcasts, lifting heavy weights, doing HIIT workouts and binge-watching Netflix series.
