The Princeton National Rowing Association (PNRA) has been named the 2011 USRowing Club of the Year. UOA is a sponsor of the organization and the practice’s Dr. Timothy Hosea serves as its team physician.

The PNRA was established in 2000 and hosts numerous annual regattas at its Finn M.W. Caspersen Rowing Center in West Windsor, New Jersey. In 2012, these will include the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team Trials, the NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships, and the Big East and Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships. The club also operates both youth and masters rowing programs as well as rowing camps.

More than 1,100 USRowing member organizations across the country were eligible for this distinguished recognition, which is based on the following criteria: performance, community outreach, service to rowing, USRowing participation, technology and communications, and safety. The PNRA, a first-time winner of the award, will be honored on Saturday, December 3, at the USRowing Annual Awards Reception in Hartford, Connecticut.
