What Does It Mean to Be a Castle Connolly Top Doctor?
For over 30 years, Castle Connolly has been the gold standard in identifying the nation’s elite medical professionals. Unlike many online physician directories that rely on user reviews or paid advertisements, the Castle Connolly Top Doctor selection is entirely merit-based.
The process begins with a peer-nomination system where licensed physicians across the United States vote for colleagues they would trust to treat their own families. Following the nomination phase, a dedicated, physician-led research team thoroughly screens each doctor’s background. They look deep into a variety of criteria, including:
- Professional qualifications and education
- Hospital and faculty appointments
- Research leadership and professional achievements
- Disciplinary history and clinical outcomes
- Interpersonal skills like active listening, empathy and communication
Ultimately, this prestigious honor recognizes only the top 7% of practicing physicians nationwide.
Our Continued Commitment to You
This national honor highlights our doctors’ clinical commitment to patient safety, outstanding medical leadership, and exceptional healthcare outcomes. Having six of our team members selected serves as a testament to the talent, dedication and clinical excellence embedded across our entire practice.
