Providing General and Specialty Orthopaedic Services.
Orthopaedics is a medical specialty that focuses on treating injuries to the bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons that comprise the musculoskeletal system. These structures provide stability to the body and enable us to flex, bend, and move. There are a variety of illnesses and injuries that can cause damage to the tissues of the musculoskeletal system. Treatments for these disorders can be nonsurgical or surgical.
All of the physicians at University Orthopaedic Associates treat general orthopaedic conditions affecting adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients. Each physician is board certified or board eligible in orthopaedic surgery, and also has fellowship training in subspecialties of orthopaedic care.
