Dr. Beiro is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon. A former Navy corpsman, Dr. Beiro is co-founder of Garden State Bone and Joint and is an attending physician at several area hospitals. Dr. Beiro received his medical degree from Rutgers University – New Jersey School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship and residency. He completed his fellowship in sports medicine at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, and acted as assistant team physician to professional and college teams, including the Baltimore Ravens NFL team and the Washington Nationals MLB team.

Dr. Chiappetta is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and a native of New Jersey. With experience in a wide variety of surgical procedures, he specializes in both elective and traumatic spine cases and uses the latest and most modern minimally invasive and robotic techniques to ensure his patients experience a successful recovery. He is dedicated to providing each of his patients with an individualized treatment approach with the goal of helping them return to a happy, healthy quality of life. 

Dr. Doumas is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He is the director of Hand Surgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and holds an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Doumas is co-author of the orthopaedic textbook “Operative Techniques in Orthopaedic Surgery.” He also volunteered as a surgeon in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake, and has been named to several top doctor lists such as Jersey’s Best Magazine Top Doctors, Jersey’s Best – Top Orthopedic Doctors, Top Doctors New York Metro Area and New York Magazine Top Doctors.

Dr. Harwood is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a specialty in joint replacement and arthritis surgery. He stays involved with clinical trials for patients with degenerative knee diseases, as he is devoted to helping patients with this condition achieve total recovery and relief from their symptoms. Dr. Hardwood has a number of accomplishments, such as being elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America®, and named as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor multiple times. 

Dr. Kayiaros is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a specialty in orthopaedic trauma and adult reconstruction for elective joint replacement. Throughout his career, he has given nearly two dozen professional presentations on orthopaedic surgery topics and has a wide range of clinical interests including complex revision hip and knee replacement, same-day outpatient hip and knee replacement surgeries and periprosthetic fractures. He strives to help each of his patients experience a speedy recovery.

Dr. Monica is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in open and arthroscopic shoulder surgery and surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He was given the “Top Doctors” Award in New Jersey Monthly six times over the last seven years and has received the Best Doctors in America® award every year since 2017. Dr. Monica is a large contributor to the orthopaedic scientific community, as he has published many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters that have been presented at scientific meetings all over the world, including in Scotland and Korea. 

Dr. Polonet is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a specialty in orthopaedic trauma and fracture care. He completed a fellowship in traumatology at Harborview Medical Center after obtaining his medical degree from the School of Medicine at the State University of New York. Dr. Polonet is the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He has used his specialty to volunteer in times of crisis, such as the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Dr. Polonet is dedicated to helping his patients heal as quickly as possible so they can get back to their favorite activities.

Dr. Sagebien is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in traumatology. He is a fellow of the AO Foundation, a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) and the Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Sagebien has spoken at numerous regional and national scientific meetings over the years and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
