After the surgery to remove a meningioma from my thoracic spine, my home care therapist recommended UOA for continued PT with Michael. My experience, healing and overall gratitude cannot be measured! The facilities, equipment and level of cleanliness are outstanding! More importantly, the staff from the front desk to the assistants and therapists were beyond efficient, caring and professional! They made my time there pleasant and extremely productive. I have been to other PT places in the past and was immediately aware of the amount of individual time and personal attention that made UOA stand out from the rest! Michael is a very special therapist. His compassion, knowledge of his craft, and always positive reinforcement made every session worthwhile and actually enjoyable. I recently received PT treatment in the Avenel office after hip replacement by Dr. Brzezinski. Dr. Brzezinski is a wonderful physician and my new hip is perfect. He then recommended me for PT next door with Lucas Suydam. The treatment he gave me helped tremendously in my recovery. He focused on how I was doing and modified each session accordingly. This was the best PT therapy I have ever received.

It began with a tib/fib fracture, followed by hip replacement surgery & finally knee replacement surgery. I feared I would never walk without a cane again. I had a mental as well as a physical dependence on it. Ryan’s strong guidance, patience & good humor enabled me to get to the place I needed to be, both mentally & physically. I feel blessed to have been assigned Ryan for my first go-round. I then chose him following my hip & then knee replacement. He gently pushed me to where I needed to be to achieve success, and for that, I will be eternally grateful.

I’m thoroughly impressed with the entire staff at the UOA Occupational and Physical Therapy department in the Woodbridge office. Everyone there, from the front desk to the occupational therapist, physical therapists, and assistants. They all go above and beyond to care for their patients. Having spent a year there having OT and then PT services, I have had the opportunity to see how caring they all are. Not only do they all get along and seem to really enjoy working with each other. They also make coming to OT or PT a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them for all of your OT and PT needs.
