Dr Fleming repaired my feet after a car accident. I thought I would never walk again, but because of Dr Fleming, I am!

In April of this year, I fell and broke both bones in my ankle. The first orthopedic surgeon that I consulted referred me to Dr. Fleming because of his recognized skill and expertise in ankle surgery. After two surgeries and a lengthy recovery, I’m fully healed and almost fully recovered. Dr. Fleming is professional, personable and entirely focused on his patients’ recovery. Dr. Fleming is a member of University Orthopaedic Associates (UOA). UOA’s staff is knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant. UOA’s physical facilities are first class. Thank you, Dr. Fleming and UOA.
I had serious ankle issues including a triple arthrodesis performed 5 years ago by a different surgeon. Later, I was unable to walk without serious pain. If you are reading this, life may be as dreadful. I sought 3 opinions. Dr. Justin J. Fleming absolutely delivered as promised. Of mention, it was worth driving 2 hours for the surgery and follow-up appointments. I live in PA. I highly recommend Dr. Justin J. Fleming. I am able to walk again without pain, fish, and enjoy life!

I had a motorcycle accident and I shattered my ankle. I thought I wouldn’t be able to walk for a long time. When I started my physical therapy a few weeks after my surgery I was in a lot of pain but Lindsey Balint was a pleasure to work with. The Woodridge office has a very clean, calming environment, and the staff is very professional. Always smiles on their faces.
She was able to help me think positive and walk again without any assistance. Now I’m able to go back work and resume a normal life thanks to Lindsey and University Orthopedic Associates! Thank you so much!

UOA Woodbridge are rockstars! From their Staff and Doctors to their Physical Therapists, they made my personal injury easy to recover from. Their modern technology and office space bring you a natural calm that you’re in good hands. I saw Dr. Schafer and physical therapist Megan Varela for my badly sprained ankle. As this was my first time ever being traumatized by pain, they both put me at ease with a program that I was comfortable with. UOA is a one-stop shop for all orthopedic needs! I highly recommend UOA and if I do have any more injuries in my future they will be my first call.

Dr. Fleming performed my total ankle replacement the end of September of 2022. I had bone on bone pain for close to 10 years to the point it became debilitating. After recovery and rehabilitation with the UOA group and Anne I have made major strides(excuse the pun). I am 63 years old and can now run, play basketball, ride motocross, etc. etc. There is nothing I cannot do. With my increased activity I have now even lost weight and feel in the best shape of my life and free from pain killers. Without Dr. Flemings expertise I would not be where I am today!

I was in severe pain in my right ankle and foot with every step I took. I consulted with Dr. Justin Fleming rather than going to New York or Philadelphia for treatment. This turned out to be THE RIGHT DECISION… Dr. Fleming and his staff put me at ease and assured me of a positive outcome. I was operated on, on April 20th for Ankle Replacement and on August 2nd I was released by Dr. Fleming being able to walk with NO PAIN. Great Job done by a GREAT DOCTOR.

Dr. Schafer saw my husband in April. We were referred to him because of a lump on his foot. He was the 4th doctor we had seen. Before seeing Dr. Schafer, we were told that he wouldn’t be able to remove it because the lump was not vascular. At the appointment, Dr. Schafer expressed concern and referred us to Dr. Francis Patterson who we saw the following week. After a biopsy of the lump, he was scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks. Dr. Schafer was the first doctor in a year to raise concern and get us where we needed to go. We will be forever grateful for that. Angel’s prognosis is hopeful and I truly believe it’s thanks to Dr. Schafer.
God bless!

A couple of months ago my wife and I went on a 10 day riverboat cruise on the Rhine River. The trip involved a lot of walking through cities and towns in Germany, including climbing through castles, windmills, and museums, among other points of interest. Through it all my ankle held up fine, with no problems at all.
There is no way I could have done all this without Dr. Fleming’s outstanding ankle replacement surgery. I thank him very much for making it possible to go into my 80’s without limping along continually.

I broke my left foot without knowing it and continued to walk on it due to neuropathy left over from back injuries, hence I did not have any pain. It developed into Charcot foot, a debilitating condition that according to one surgeon I consulted with has a great chance of resulting in amputation of the affected foot. I made an appointment with Dr. Fleming at University Orthopaedics who explained to me his course of treatment for Charcot foot. It involved surgery to correct the misalignment and remove the ulceration at the bottom of the foot, and installing a fixator, which I had for 6 weeks, and no weight bearing on the foot. I had to undergo several more surgeries and am presently in physical therapy and have custom orthotic shoes for a period of time. Needless to say, Dr Fleming’s approach and his bedside manner are second to none. I feel as though he saved my foot and I highly recommend consulting with him should you have any foot issues. I have never met a doctor/surgeon with his demeanor before and feel totally indebted to him for his care, skills, and total approach to the treatment of my condition. His nurse, Tess, rounds out the terrific experience when you visit the office.
