I recently received PT treatment in the Avenel office after hip replacement by Dr. Brzezinski. Dr. Brzezinski is a wonderful physician and my new hip is perfect. He then recommended me for PT next door with Lucas Suydam. The treatment he gave me helped tremendously in my recovery. He focused on how I was doing and modified each session accordingly. This was the best PT therapy I have ever received.

Several years ago Dr. David Harwood performed a hip replacement on me and recently a knee replacement. After discharge from the hospital, I’ve had no pain whatsoever and was able to prepare dinner that same evening. Since my first visit until my discharge, the entire staff, including PT, has provided me with first-class service. My hat’s off to Dr. Harwood and his entire team!!! Thank you all so very much.
Dr. Harwood gave me back my scuba diving. Thanks to the 2 knee replacements that Dr. Harwood did for me over the last couple of years, this past August I was able to go scuba diving with sea lions in the Sea of Cortez.

Yesterday I underwent my second full hip replacement by Dr. Stephen Kayiaros. This was my first at the UOA in-house surgical facility. It was a great experience with everyone involved ensuring I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. Special mention goes to Abby in pre-op prep and Lauren in post-op care. Both were excellent and I’m grateful for their efforts. Many thanks to Dr. Stephen Kayiaros for performing my second full hip replacement. As a pioneer of the anterior approach he provided a very good experience with minimal discomfort. When I went into University Orthopaedics, I had no quality of life. I was using 2 canes to walk and a scooter if I had to go any kind of a distance. Thanks to Doctor Baione I got my life back. My 2 new knees have given me the quality of life that I had been missing for many years since my knees became arthritic. The doctors and nurses and physician assistants in the practice were very kind very considerate and very caring for the patient. I definitely recommend all the doctors and professionals in this office for any of your joint replacement needs.
