I started working with Blake as an alternative to a traditional physical therapy program. Blake was able to develop a fantastic program for my primary concerns as well as a comprehensive total body workout. The sessions are demanding, yet rewarding. You can really feel yourself getting stronger everyday. Overall, the sports performance program has been great and I will be coming back for any further physical therapy needs.
Kristine was the therapist who was taking care of me. I cannot find words more than she was taking care of me and doing a very good, professional job. The rest of the people I dealt with were doing a very good job and as they say, they walked the extra mile with the patient. In general, the place is equipped for the job and the people are great.
I injured my shoulder on September 22, 2012 as a result of falling off my mountain bike and I needed surgery on September 23, 2012 to repair my fractured collarbone. I started therapy with another company in November 2012. On February 5th, 2013 I needed a second surgery to remove the plate and pins in my shoulder. I went back to the same therapist but it just wasn’t working. I wasn’t getting better. I decided I needed a change and decided to switch therapists. Based on a recommendation I called UOA and requested Lynn. During my first visit with Lynn I knew right away I made the right decision. She completely changed my program. There was an immediate improvement. She also gave me the confidence to work hard and if I stuck to the program and did my home exercises I would get better and I did. I would highly recommend UOA and Lynn.
After having my knee replacement on Jan. 9th, my surgeon said I was to go for physical therapy. I picked University Orthopaedic Associates for I was told they had the best therapists. They were not only the best, but they took the time to explain and show me what was entailed in my therapy, and what I had to do on the premises and at home. Thanks Lynn and Kevin for the special attention you gave me.
