Having just completed my therapy. I would like to say Lynn Van Ost was very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Lynn and her staff on a scale of 1 to 10 were at 10. Also the receptionists were very welcoming and helpful.
Having undertaken daunting bilateral knee replacement and not knowing what to expect in rehab I was thoroughly pleased with my almost 4 months experience in your facility.
From the first pre-op visit to your site and throughout the entire process of regaining my mobility, I quickly realized that I was in an excellent place. I easily gained the confidence of my therapist Lyn, as she quickly displayed her expertise and caring way with me!
Although I certainly had to work very hard to press forward no matter how difficult it was for me, Lyn was always there to encourage me and get me through the exercises. No question I may have asked her went unanswered. She is certainly a distinctive and truly dedicated professional in her field.
The rehab is definitely state of the art. It is maintained very well and kept very clean. The entire staff is extremely cordial and supportive. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience.
I appreciated the fact that Neveen was in contact with my surgeon and had a solid grasp of what I was capable of physically at any time over the course of my therapy. In addition to being a warm, calming presence, she also has it in her to be firm, particularly when I was balking at taking the next step. She outlined a training program for me to return to my former level of athletic ability and encouraged me to get in touch with questions. I’ll likely continue doing some of the exercises she showed me because they were really great!
Professionalism from the moment you walk through the door. From the receptionists who coordinates your insurance documents and doctor’s appointments to your first visit with your physical therapist. A clean relaxed environment with knowledgeable physical therapist (staff). And my wonderful P.T. Mohammed Raza, outstanding! I actually enjoyed the physical therapy and understanding how to strengthen my body to prevent a future injury.
I was very pleased with the professional care I received at UOA. It was a pleasant place to do physical therapy.
I am very happy that I chose UOA for my therapy. All of those with whom I dealt were not only knowledgeable, but truly cared about my well-being.
My experience with UOA was very good. I came into the office with a worker. I had to be driven in by my children along with my Sisters in Christ. As I began to make progress with Neveen I graduated to the cain and later on to be able to drive myself to therapy. And now I am walking on my own with little or no pain at all. It has been a very good experience for me and my family.
I have played indoor volleyball for 14+ years. As a result, I acquired 3 injuries, each on different occasions. For each injury, I came to University Orthopaedic Associates. Although physical therapy isn’t generally a pleasant process, the therapists and staff of UOA made it a great experience. I appreciate their flexibility, patience, and most of all dedication to my rehabilitation. I would recommend anyone to them for an efficient and memorable recovery.
When I started therapy I was a potential surgical candidate. Through physical therapy I was able to strengthen my back to the point that I am no longer considering surgical options. Beyond the structural therapy I have a personal plan to continue my rehab.
My physical therapy experience was amazing. I feel like I am well on my way back to full recovery after my shoulder surgery. The PT started slowly to get some movement back and then progressed to range of motion and strength building exercises.
Much of the credit goes to Lynn Van Ost, my PT instructor, who had led me thru the recovery process. Her experience, enthusiasm and dedication made a tremendous difference. She seemed to know exactly what to do during each step of the recovery process. Lynn also provided the tools and information so I would be able to complete the last 25% of the recovery on my own.
The PT facilities and equipment at UOANJ were top-shelf, too.
For all the reasons above, I would not hesitate to return to UOANJ for any future PT needs.
