From 0 to 100 in a blink of an eye. Ben’ s simply amazing. He put me back on track just after couple of appointments. Thanks Ben!!!
I was in so much physical pain and distress. When my surgeon proposed going to physical therapy, I was convinced it wouldn’t work. Ben was able to help me move again without surgery!

An absolutely incredible experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Ben Glider is fantastic. A true professional, friendly and personable. An experience I thought would be painful he made me feel relaxed and encouraged me to stay on track. He is a great asset to this facility. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a PT.

I had a left total knee replaced by Dr. Kayiaros. I waited about four months to have my surgery done by him, because I was told he was the best. Well, he certainly is!! I never had to take any of the pain medications that were prescribed prior to surgery. When I got home the day of the surgery, I was able to walk up 15 steps! Daily phone calls from the Somerset Surgical Center answered any concerns I had. The next two weeks were filled with physical therapists coming to my home and working with me so I was able to return to normal everyday living.
I started my outpatient physical therapy three weeks after my surgery in UOA Avenel. My therapist was Ben Glider. His reviews, posted by others, were so positive that I was excited to start. I have to say that working with Ben was a great experience. He was very professional, knowledgeable, understanding and caring. He also made my sessions enjoyable with his sense of humor. I highly recommend Ben, and the rest of the staff in Avenel, for anyone requiring physical therapy. I am now walking without assistance from any device and pain-free less than two months after my surgery. University Orthopaedic Associates are the best!!
The entire UOA staff was wonderful. My therapist Ben Glider was amazing. His personality and professionalism made my journey all worthwhile. Thank you for all your support and dedication during my recovery. If you want to get back to feeling like yourself again then Ben is the man for you.
In April, I had knee surgery for a complex meniscus tear performed by Dr. Beiro at University Orthopaedic Associates in Avenel, UOA’s Woodbridge location. Ben Glider, the experienced and skilled physical therapist at UOA’s Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Excellence, which is located right next door to UOA, helped me regain the knee strength that I had lost. From the time of my knee injury and continuing after the surgery, I had great difficulty going down steps. Thanks to Ben’s care, I now can go down steps much more easily. Ben also gave me a printed program of exercises to continue doing at home. He was personable and professional and provided encouragement when needed. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Kayiaros was great as usual! I am able to walk without the terrible pain that I had in my left hip. He also replaced my right hip 7 years ago and I had the same results. Pain – gone! I am 81 years old and he has definitely improved the quality of my life. Ben Glider in Physical Therapy is such a caring professional, I was glad to work with him. He stressed the importance of continuing to get stronger which I am doing.
My experience was definitely a positive one! I believe Ben’s plan, motivation, and guidance was key and instrumental to my recovery. Beyond that, I was surprised at how invested others at UOA were in my recovery; from the front desk ladies, the PT Assistants, and other PTs. They asked how I was doing and waited for an answer. They celebrated my small victories (ie: the first time I came in without one crutch, or no crutch at all). And all of this during the early days of the COVID pandemic (March – Sept). Between Ben and the entire staff at UOA, I feel like I had everyone invested in my full recovery! THANK YOU ALL!!
