I had an appointment with Doctor Doumas. First, I got lost getting there and called. My anxiety kicked in and I wanted to cancel my appointment. However Cassandra was polite and kind and talked me all the way in. Then, Dr. Doumas came in and saw that I had tears in my eyes and when I told him why, he began to tear up. He told me he would be praying for me and my situation. Thank you so much for treating me more than a patient. You treated me with loving kindness. There needs to be more of this in the world. Dr. Lu treated my son for a football-related injury and we could not have had a better experience. He was attentive and went above and beyond what we expected in terms of care. Dr. Lu took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure we fully understood the injury. The entire staff was equally impressive- so helpful with scheduling appointments and making the entire process as easy as possible. We are truly grateful for the excellent care and highly recommend Dr. Lu and his team.

From start to finish, my experience with University Orthopaedic Associates was excellent. When I first called to make my appointment, the woman who helped me was friendly, patient, and very helpful — a great first impression.
When I arrived for my visit, the front desk staff was warm and welcoming. They even thanked me for completing my paperwork online, which was a nice and thoughtful gesture.
Dr. Doumas’ nurse was also very kind and made me feel at ease. The X-ray technician was professional and efficient, and everything moved along smoothly.
Dr. Doumas was outstanding — he took the time to show me my X-rays, explain exactly what was going on with my shoulder, and performed a thorough exam. His clear communication and attention made me feel confident in the care I was receiving.
After the visit, I emailed to request access to the patient portal, and Erica Reyes, the EMR Manager, responded immediately with clear instructions. She was also friendly and professional.
Overall, the staff at University Orthopaedic Associates was far more friendly and professional than what I’ve experienced at Seaview Orthopaedics. Hopefully, I won’t need too many appointments in the future — but if I do, I’ll be more than happy to return, knowing I’ll be treated with such kindness and respect.
I had a torn meniscus that Dr. Beiro successfully addressed with surgery, but my healing journey was longer than usual because of other unforeseen medical complications. However,
the incredible physical therapy team at the Morganville office—Mike, Dana, and the rest—made all the difference. Their balanced, knowledgeable approach, knowing when to push and when not to, combined with their constant kindness and smiles, ensured proper healing and a great overall experience. I’m now well on my way to resuming my active lifestyle.
I also want to acknowledge the front office staff, who are consistently helpful and accommodating. Thank you to everyone! Today marked my “graduation” from physical therapy, and I will truly miss you all!
I came to Dr. Leddy after suffering from shoulder pain for a long time. During one office visit, he found the issue and gave me a guided shot in the shoulder. Within a couple of days, I was and am still pain-free! Thank you, Dr Leddy, and your kind staff!

University Orthopaedic Associates is awesome! The entire team is friendly and caring. The entire office staff took great care of me. From the surgeons to physical therapists and their team to the front desk staff. They are a part of my family now. So very grateful for their support through my shoulder replacement and recovery. Just can’t say enough about them!

Dr. Doumas is an incredibly skilled and caring doctor. Several days before my wedding I needed surgery on my finger. Most places wouldn’t even take me for an appointment. UOA not only squeezed me in 4 days before my wedding, but Dr. Doumas was so understanding to my pain and upcoming wedding stress. He scheduled me for surgery the NEXT day. He did an amazing job completing a nail bed repair and even put my avulsed nail back on, so that I would have all 5 nails on my left hand on my wedding day. He turned a stressed filled week into a success!! Now 4 weeks later, my finger and nail are healing beautifully. I cannot thank UOA and Dr. Doumas enough!!
