The staff, the environment, the patient experience and the therapists at UOA’s Center for Rehabilitation are Top Notch! Dino Pinciotti, my therapist, was professional and was extremely well informed on the latest protocols and best practices. The Graston Technique – a form of manual therapy known as soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization, greatly reduced my pain and helped in strengthening my arm and back after a cervical fusion. Dino is attentive to you while you are doing your exercises to make sure you are doing them correctly. He is very hands-on and motivating. Also, a thank you to Jaime Rose my OT! I would recommend this practice to anyone at any age or treatment scenario – really excellent!
The entire staff at the UOA Rehab Center is outstanding, blending professional skill and expertise with the right personal touch! Lead therapist Brittany Marcsisin, in particular, did an exceptional job in designing the Physical Therapy program that challenges me and got me back to 100% more quickly. And she did a masterful job coordinating and working around my schedule. Â
It gives me great pleasure to relate the outstanding rehab experience afforded to me by Kevin. He was both competent and caring. Throughout my entire series of rehab…he personally conducted each session, aided by his staff. In addition, the office crew was always courteous and helpful in scheduling appointments. Thank you all for making this such a positive experience.Â
From my first day it has been clear that Dr. Vinny and the other physical therapy doctors and support staff at the Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Excellence were determined to enhance my quality of life by eliminating my chronic pain and everyday obstacles. Every previous conversation whether medical or personal was remembered and continued in the next session. They make their patients feel welcomed as everyone in the room is chatting with smiles on their faces, through any pain they may be feeling. Thank you for making my first PT experience so positive and helping me take the necessary steps to feel like myself again!Â
I had gone to these sessions for the injury to my legs. UOA Center has a very good staff and excellent services. Brittany took care of me really well. I will definitely recommend UOA to my friends and family. Thanks very much!
I found my time at UOA to be beneficial in correcting my problem. The staff was professional and caring. Brittany was always working to improve my condition. I would recommend UOA to anyone who need physical therapy.
When I first started PT, my right shoulder was in a lot of pain. Brittany evaluated my condition and the regimen she had me do made me and my shoulder feel 100% better. I worked hard and Brittany never let me do any short cuts. Because of her dedication and professionalism, I walked out of UOA feeling like a new person.
All the workers were very thoughtful and helpful.
Brittany is a very good physical therapist. She listens to you and explains why certain exercises are being done and the expected results. She made adjustments for 2 exercises I was having pain with. She is friendly as well as professional. She helped me get strength back in my hip after my replacement surgery. The whole staff was excellent and I would highly recommend her.
My DPT was absolutely exceptional. She is very knowledgeable, caring, informative, dedicated and hard working. She was also extremely supportive with a great patient interaction skill. I couldn’t have hoped for a more tolerable and successful rehab.
My total knee replacement was performed by Dr. David Harwood at UOA Surgical Center in Somerset on March 20, 2020. My subsequent physical therapy with Dean (Dino) Pinciotti, PT, Director of UOA Center for Rehabilitation & Sports Excellence is a bright spot in this very challenging year of 2020. I could not have asked for a better physical therapist. Kind, gentle, skilled, attentive and always made sure to push me a little harder each week to be certain that I had the opportunity to get as much flexibility and strength in my surgical leg as possible.
I would remiss if I did not mention the kindness and friendliness of Ryan, Ben, Sara and Jill.
