I met Sara when I was going to physical therapy at UOA right after I had back surgery. I established a good rapport with her and had a very positive experience throughout my rehabilitation. When I inquired about personal training – post physical therapy, I was informed about Sara’s new personal training program. I immediately signed up! And I am extremely satisfied with this total body fitness program. Sara is positive, professional and enthusiastic about asserting me in achieving my fitness goals. Working with Sara has already improved my strength, mobility, endurance and self-esteem!
I had a fantastic experience with my physical therapy. My main therapist and all the assistants were excellent in the rehabilitation of my knee. My sessions were well organized and they kept me busy which maximized my time at the location. The strength in my leg came back to normal in only a few weeks. Dino also showed me a few preventative measures in my last session.
My experience was definitely a positive one! I believe Ben’s plan, motivation, and guidance was key and instrumental to my recovery. Beyond that, I was surprised at how invested others at UOA were in my recovery; from the front desk ladies, the PT Assistants, and other PTs. They asked how I was doing and waited for an answer. They celebrated my small victories (ie: the first time I came in without one crutch, or no crutch at all). And all of this during the early days of the COVID pandemic (March – Sept). Between Ben and the entire staff at UOA, I feel like I had everyone invested in my full recovery! THANK YOU ALL!!
I had a wonderful experience at UOA. Joe Abadir is a top-notch professional, very attuned to his client’s needs. I had knee pain and the goa was to be able to walk pain-free and play golf without compensating for any pain. Well, I just returned from Florida, and my knee performed well – so well that I did not even have to think about making adjustments! So kudos to Joe for his excellent work and to the awesome staff at UOA for making the experience pleasant and rewarding!
I would like to thank all the therapists that helped me to walk right again. Thank you so much for all the help! PS: Joe you are the BEST!
Joe was great! He worked with me to reach my goals, and he was always upbeat, a real pleasure to work with!
I saw Amanda Duimstra for occupational therapy. I fractured the radial bone of my left and right arm. When I started therapy both arms really hurt. Now my arms are practically pain free. Amanda is an excellent occupational therapist.
The staff, the environment, the patient experience and the therapists at UOA’s Center for Rehabilitation are Top Notch! Dino Pinciotti, my therapist, was professional and was extremely well informed on the latest protocols and best practices. The Graston Technique – a form of manual therapy known as soft-tissue instrument-assisted mobilization, greatly reduced my pain and helped in strengthening my arm and back after a cervical fusion. Dino is attentive to you while you are doing your exercises to make sure you are doing them correctly. He is very hands-on and motivating. Also, a thank you to Jaime Rose my OT! I would recommend this practice to anyone at any age or treatment scenario – really excellent!
The entire staff at the UOA Rehab Center is outstanding, blending professional skill and expertise with the right personal touch! Lead therapist Brittany Marcsisin, in particular, did an exceptional job in designing the Physical Therapy program that challenges me and got me back to 100% more quickly. And she did a masterful job coordinating and working around my schedule.
It gives me great pleasure to relate the outstanding rehab experience afforded to me by Kevin. He was both competent and caring. Throughout my entire series of rehab…he personally conducted each session, aided by his staff. In addition, the office crew was always courteous and helpful in scheduling appointments. Thank you all for making this such a positive experience.
