My experience with PT Therapist, Ryan Kay was very helpful. He made my PT experience much more efficient. I liked his mannerism and personality and knowledge. I would highly recommend him to my friends and/or family when physical therapy would be required.
My experience at UOA for the last six months has been a good one. My physical therapist, Ryan Kay, was outstanding. He was experienced in his field and beyond! Ryan explained each exercise I did and always asked how I felt afterward. He was gentle and guided me through each step – encouraging me to continue at home. Ryan was pleasant and courteous. Because of Ryan, I’m better. Also kudos to the assistants.
When I had total hip replacement surgery in November 2019, I was very fortunate to have had Ryan Kay as a physical therapist. His outstanding knowledge and abilities made all the difference in both pre-op preparation and post-op recovery resulting in a successful outcome. He always listened patiently to my concerns and customized his therapy to meet my needs, alleviate pain and strengthen muscles in order for me to regain movement. Ryan’s congenial nature, care for his patients and confidence in his expertise inspire you to do your part by keeping up with them at home exercises he prescribes.
The efficient, light and airy UOA Physical Therapy facility features top quality rehab and exercise equipment and the staff are all professional, pleasant and eager to assist you in any way possible. They obviously enjoy working with their patients and with each other, creating an upbeat atmosphere for all.
Highly endorse the facility and staff @ UOANJ, particularly Ryan Kay.
Sustained broken right ankle in late Sept. 2019 and underwent surgery on October 10th. My physical therapy commenced in mid-December and my twice weekly sessions were beneficial and positive. Ryan was caring, knowledgable and very professional. Thanks, Ryan. I would recommend the services of UOANJ without reservation.
The care I received from Ben was second to none. Questions were always answered before any therapy was performed. Everything was based upon the long term progress of my issues. I would recommend anyone who was in need of PT to not only go to UOA but to ask specifically for Ben.
My Experience with other PT was a set of exercises that I did on my own and a 5 minute session with the therapist.
My experience at UOA PT is different. Hands on approach, goals to reach, explanation of the exercises and a results oriented sessions. I feel much better about my results. I have a wider range of motion. Best of all, I am pain free. Thank you!
Ben Glider is phenomenal. Thanks to his knowledge and guidance I feel terrific just following hip replacement surgery. His expertise comes through. He takes the time to listen and personalize the physical therapy outcome. I highly recommend him and will absolutely seek him out again for next hip replacement.
I began therapy for a torn meniscus in my right knee. In just a few weeks, I began to notice improvement. The pain I experienced diminished significantly because of the treatment I received from Joe Abadir. I also received instruction on home exercise, which has also helped my recovery. Joe is friendly and listens to his patients. He understands each patient may have limitations and works with them to repair and strengthen the impacted area. I would highly recommend Joe if anyone is looking for a therapist.
I worked with Kevin for six weeks. My body and muscles feel much stronger. Kevin is very personable and I enjoyed working with him and the interns. I highly recommend Kevin and the other people at your office.
I started physical therapy with Ryan in November 2019. To-date, I have completed a total of 11 sessions with him to moderate two severe bursitis in both hips. When I started, my pain level ranged between an 8 and 10, which significantly impeded my mobility. Ryan and the staff at UOA were very professional. Ryan has helped me tremendously with the stretching and strengthening exercises that he applied and also those he taught me to do at home. The foam roller modailities were also extremely beneficial. Today, I am pain free; able to walk 1 hour (3-4 miles) per day and spring out of bed and from a sitting position as if I were 5 years younger. I will continue to move to prevent any relapse. My sincere thanks to Ryan and UOA. May you continue the great work that you do in providing great physical therapy.
