Scuba Diving With Sea Lions

Dr. Harwood gave me back my scuba diving. Thanks to the 2 knee replacements that Dr. Harwood did for me over the last couple of years, this past August I was able to go scuba diving with sea lions in the Sea of Cortez.

Incredibly Effective Hands-On Therapy

I made a fast and fine recovery after knee replacement. I can’t imagine that the results would have been so positive if I hadn’t chosen UOA for Physical Therapy. After experiencing multiple broken bones through the years, I’ve become more familiar than I want to be with PT organizations. UOA surprised me: totally organized; no time wasted; multiple assistants at all times to help with equipment and exercises; lots of good machines; bright, clean and airy facility. A BIG shout out to my personal trainer, Dean Pinciotti (Director in Somerset), not only for his incredibly effective hands-on therapy but, for steering me in the best direction for the most appropriate and speedy speedy program. I can’t recommend him enough!

UOA Was an Amazing Experience

I came to Dr Buckley with a knee issue. He diagnosed the issue with some tests and did surgery on my knee. I was very thankful to him for his professionalism and skills to repair my knee and make the pain go away. The PT team I worked with, Mike and Alexis, were amazing. They worked my strength back up in half the time needed. The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful with all questions and appointment setups. UOA was an amazing experience and I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much UOA team.

Alexis Greenberg, Physical Therapist, is the best

Wow, where do I start? Alexis Greenberg, Physical Therapist, is the best. I mean the very best. Her personality is like no other. She is knowledgeable, kind, caring, sensitive and listens to her clients. She takes into consideration what’s going on and how you are feeling to develop a plan that fits you. She is not the only kind person; the assistants were also kind and caring. I would recommend Alexis and the PT department to all my friends. It was a GREAT experience. Thank you, Alexis, for all you have done for me but also for what you do for others. 🙂

Significant Improvement In My Mobility

My experience here at UOANJ has been nothing but great. I came in with severe back pain and working with Ben has shown significant improvement in my mobility. The staff in the office is personable and welcoming, making my time there all the more pleasant. Ben truly cares about the progress of his patients so much that he goes above and beyond to provide a home routine for me when I don’t have an office appointment. I truly appreciate all of his work and would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

Every Visit Was a Positive One

I brought my daughter to UOA after a recommendation from two friends. Her PT, Ben Glider, was outstanding. My daughter was so nervous going into the first visit but Ben made her feel so comfortable. He listened fully to her concerns and developed a comprehensive rehab plan that she could follow, even after her sessions ended. He is so personable and caring. Every visit was a positive one – she actually looked forward to going to PT! She even started looking into PT as a future career.

Dr. Doumas Was Just Great

Just finished my PT yesterday with Mike at Marlboro. Throughout my long journey, he was very supportive and very knowledgeable. He was always responsive to my needs and showed true concern. Great Experience With Everyone Involved

Yesterday I underwent my second full hip replacement by Dr. Stephen Kayiaros. This was my first at the UOA in-house surgical facility. It was a great experience with everyone involved ensuring I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. Special mention goes to Abby in pre-op prep and Lauren in post-op care. Both were excellent and I’m grateful for their efforts. Many thanks to Dr. Stephen Kayiaros for performing my second full hip replacement. As a pioneer of the anterior approach he provided a very good experience with minimal discomfort. All pre- and post-operative activities are thoroughly organized and the information process is excellent. Thank you!
