Dr. Pannullo was a very caring and considerate physician. He was very reassuring and made me very relaxed.

Yesterday I underwent my second full hip replacement by Dr. Stephen Kayiaros. This was my first at the UOA in-house surgical facility. It was a great experience with everyone involved ensuring I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. Special mention goes to Abby in pre-op prep and Lauren in post-op care. Both were excellent and I’m grateful for their efforts. Many thanks to Dr. Stephen Kayiaros for performing my second full hip replacement. As a pioneer of the anterior approach he provided a very good experience with minimal discomfort. All pre- and post-operative activities are thoroughly organized and the information process is excellent. Thank you!

Dr. Doumas is an incredibly skilled and caring doctor. Several days before my wedding I needed surgery on my finger. Most places wouldn’t even take me for an appointment. UOA not only squeezed me in 4 days before my wedding, but Dr. Doumas was so understanding to my pain and upcoming wedding stress. He scheduled me for surgery the NEXT day. He did an amazing job completing a nail bed repair and even put my avulsed nail back on, so that I would have all 5 nails on my left hand on my wedding day. He turned a stressed filled week into a success!! Now 4 weeks later, my finger and nail are healing beautifully. I cannot thank UOA and Dr. Doumas enough!!

When I went into University Orthopaedics, I had no quality of life. I was using 2 canes to walk and a scooter if I had to go any kind of a distance. Thanks to Doctor Baione I got my life back. My 2 new knees have given me the quality of life that I had been missing for many years since my knees became arthritic. The doctors and nurses and physician assistants in the practice were very kind very considerate and very caring for the patient. I definitely recommend all the doctors and professionals in this office for any of your joint replacement needs.

My husband and I both had bilateral knee replacement by Dr Stephen Kayiaros a few years ago. What a blessing. We have our lives back and are enjoying taking our dog on long walks. The surgery was uneventful and pain management was the best. With extensive PT we were up and about in a few short days actually climbing stairs the day we were discharged. Only issue is we were sorry we waited so long to do this replacement. Dr Kayiaros is the best. He has a kind heart.

For 40 years I’ve suffered from back pain which has been resistant to the numerous other remedies I’ve tried. But thanks to Dr. Demian, not only has my pain been completely relieved but the significant other joint stiffness I didn’t even realize was related to my back injury has also been eliminated. The non-surgical treatment was comfortable, very professionally administered, efficient, easily and conveniently scheduled with virtually no recovery time. I’m grateful to UOA spinal Surgeon Dr. Matthew McDonnell for the referral and, of course, to Dr. Pavli Demian. He literally turned back the clock on my physical condition giving me a new sense of freedom along with the golden grail of those in our golden years, more energy. It’s another great success for the pros at University Orthopaedics. Thank you!

My PT, Ryan was amazing the whole time I was recovering from my acl surgery. He thoroughly explained each step of the recovery process and made me feel really confident in my ability to recover and return back to sports. He was always responsive to emails and would help you outside the visits as well. He is super educated and modified my program based on my development over the weeks. I recommend him to anyone that needs physical therapy.

Justin McTish is an incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and kind Occupational Therapist. After dislocating my shoulder, tearing my rotator cuff, and partially tearing my tfcc in my wrist in a fall on December 9th, 2023, I required two separate surgeries – one in February for my shoulder and the other in July for my wrist.
From my initial visit in December 2023 to my final visit in September 2024, Justin made this lengthy ordeal a pleasant experience. There were times when I felt defeated, but Justin took the time to let me talk through my frustrations and was incredibly encouraging, always leaving me with a renewed sense of encouragement and understanding.
He helped me realize that while my frustrations were valid, I was making progress even when I didn’t think so. As someone who had never undergone major surgery before, having conversations with Justin before both surgeries really put my mind at ease and assured me that I was making the right decisions.
Justin truly made my twice-weekly appointments something to look forward to. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of shoulder or hand occupational therapy.
