I have played indoor volleyball for 14+ years. As a result, I acquired 3 injuries, each on different occasions. For each injury, I came to University Orthopaedic Associates. Although physical therapy isn’t generally a pleasant process, the therapists and staff of UOA made it a great experience. I appreciate their flexibility, patience, and most of all dedication to my rehabilitation. I would recommend anyone to them for an efficient and memorable recovery.
When I started therapy I was a potential surgical candidate. Through physical therapy I was able to strengthen my back to the point that I am no longer considering surgical options. Beyond the structural therapy I have a personal plan to continue my rehab.
My physical therapy experience was amazing. I feel like I am well on my way back to full recovery after my shoulder surgery. The PT started slowly to get some movement back and then progressed to range of motion and strength building exercises.
Much of the credit goes to Lynn Van Ost, my PT instructor, who had led me thru the recovery process. Her experience, enthusiasm and dedication made a tremendous difference. She seemed to know exactly what to do during each step of the recovery process. Lynn also provided the tools and information so I would be able to complete the last 25% of the recovery on my own.
The PT facilities and equipment at UOANJ were top-shelf, too.
For all the reasons above, I would not hesitate to return to UOANJ for any future PT needs.
It is a pleasure to visit UOA. They are the most efficient and pleasant office I have ever been in. I recommend them highly to all I know.
I was more than satisfied with my experience at UOA. The equipment, the cleanliness, and atmosphere made my therapy session enjoyable. Neveen gave me the encouragement and push I needed to get back to being me again. I have come a long way thanks to her guidance. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. From the ladies at the front desk to Erin who assisted Neveen and even the other patients who offered their encouragement.
Neveen is very caring and professional in all instructions she gives during physical therapy. Her knowledge has been very helpful to alleviate some of the pain in my knees and I will continue to do her exercises. I have also joined Parker Wellness to further my recovery.
Jake Bobal keenly remembers a pivotal high school football game during his junior year. It was the third quarter in a regular season game against Somerville. The Montgomery High School middle linebacker planted his foot during a tackle. He continued to fall, but his leg stayed rooted to the ground. “I first heard the pop, and I was helped up, took one wobbly step and my whole leg collapsed. I realized it was not good.” […]
Dr. Kayiaros is one of the best doctors in my 78-year-old medical experience. He is caring, thoughtful, and his credentials are beyond impeccable. He has a wonderful personality to go with his expertise as a doctor. He listens, explains, and wants to make sure the patient understands what will occur. I had a hip replacement and I think he is absolutely one of the best doctors i’ve ever encountered. He is so personable and has a fine sense of humor…no orthopaedic surgeon ego! Couldn’t recommend him more highly!
“I didn’t think it would be so easy. I felt absolutely no pain. I was at the gym five days later, doing a Zumba class.”
