Working with Ryan was the best physical therapy experience for me in over 10 years. His analysis was very thorough and also – who would believe that I was more capable than I believed. The exercises were simple and very effective. I am proud of my mobility and my confidence in my ability to work with less pain. In all, just treating myself was the best reward – in addition to the strength training of course!
Ryan was an excellent physical therapist. He is extremely patient, professional and knowledgeable. You can tell Ryan is a unique physical therapist because it is not only a job for him. He is passionate and genuinely cares about his work. He will not leave your questions unanswered or give you unrealistic goals to attain. Ryan simply was the best!
While the arthritis in my knee will be a part of my torture – I am much better and believe that I can manage much of the issues with care. I do wish I was able to continue as my “bad” knee is now close to being my “good” knee.
Under the direction of Dr. Pannullo, Ryan met me, received my file, listened to my complaints and arranged a plan of care. He calmly explained each stage of PT, what he expected of me and how my body should respond. He helped put together a home program and encouraged me to follow it. He always presented patience.
My experience at UOA was excellent. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The information provided especially concerning treatment and insurance was clear and thorough. My therapist, Ryan Kay, worked wonders. He also provided information on how to proceed if the problem flared up again. I cannot recommend UOA highly enough.
I would like to praise the fine care I received from my therapist, Ryan Kay. Ryan has seen me through a hip and knee replacement as well as plantar fasciitis. I am happy he is now working in such a fine state of the art facility. The combination of your facility and Ryan’s professionalism is what made your center my choice, despite the long drive to reach Somerset.
My experience with PT Therapist, Ryan Kay was very helpful. He made my PT experience much more efficient. I liked his mannerism and personality and knowledge. I would highly recommend him to my friends and/or family when physical therapy would be required.
My experience at UOA for the last six months has been a good one. My physical therapist, Ryan Kay, was outstanding. He was experienced in his field and beyond! Ryan explained each exercise I did and always asked how I felt afterward. He was gentle and guided me through each step – encouraging me to continue at home. Ryan was pleasant and courteous. Because of Ryan, I’m better. Also kudos to the assistants.
When I had total hip replacement surgery in November 2019, I was very fortunate to have had Ryan Kay as a physical therapist. His outstanding knowledge and abilities made all the difference in both pre-op preparation and post-op recovery resulting in a successful outcome. He always listened patiently to my concerns and customized his therapy to meet my needs, alleviate pain and strengthen muscles in order for me to regain movement. Ryan’s congenial nature, care for his patients and confidence in his expertise inspire you to do your part by keeping up with them at home exercises he prescribes.
The efficient, light and airy UOA Physical Therapy facility features top quality rehab and exercise equipment and the staff are all professional, pleasant and eager to assist you in any way possible. They obviously enjoy working with their patients and with each other, creating an upbeat atmosphere for all.
Highly endorse the facility and staff @ UOANJ, particularly Ryan Kay.
Sustained broken right ankle in late Sept. 2019 and underwent surgery on October 10th. My physical therapy commenced in mid-December and my twice weekly sessions were beneficial and positive. Ryan was caring, knowledgable and very professional. Thanks, Ryan. I would recommend the services of UOANJ without reservation.
