I have been treated at UOA Center for Rehabilitation & Sports Excellence for several years and have always been exceptionally pleased with my treatment and progress. Ben Glider treated me most recently after my hip replacement. He was always sensitive to my individual needs, yet encouraged me and challenged me during every visit. I know that my recovery is due to his diligence.
I had my physical therapist to relieve the pains that I was experiencing with my left knee. Ben Glider was my therapist and he was awesome. He was very professional and was very knowledgable. In 5 weeks, he was able to help me ease up with my pains from a pain scale of 5-6 out of 10 to 0-2 out of 10. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean. I would definitely recommend this facility and Ben as your therapist if you ever needed physical therapy.
I would like to express my appreciation to Dr. Baione. I came to Dr. Baione form a previous Orthopaedic doctor that was not handling my infection from his knee replacement promptly. Within a week, Dr. Baione had me in the hospital to remove the infected knee prosthetic and on the proper antibiotic. Dr. Baione has seen me through the most difficult health issue of my life. I can’t thank him enough for his prompt and proactive attention to me.
Dr. Justin Fleming – podiatric surgeon – operated on my left foot/ toes in January. Not only is he a skilled surgeon, but he is always so compassionate and caring. He treats me with respect – an amazing bedside manner!
Greg did an outstanding job in relieving the pain in my shoulder. So very helpful in every way! Very pleasant – FABULOUS!
I am very pleased with the care I received from Greg Roth and his staff, I would recommend UOA to anyone that has a problem with anything.
Thank you University Orthopaedic Associates for such a great experience on my road to recovery from hip surgery! A special thanks to my therapist, Ben Glider, who was a true professional every step of the way. I would highly recommend UOA to anyone I know
This was my first time receiving physical therapy at UOA’s Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Excellence. I was very pleased at how professional everyone was from the office staff to my physical therapist, Everything was taken care of for me regarding my health insurance coverage so all I had to worry about was concentrating on getting my physical therapy. My physical therapist, Ben Glider, was very professional, knowledgeable and listening carefully to my complaints regarding my shoulder pain. He explained everything to me in a manner I understood completely. He put a plan together for my physical therapy needs which got me on the road to recovery quickly and comfortably.
I was extremely pleased at the level of precautions that were taken in dealing with the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that I, as well as other patients, would be safe during our time at the facility while receiving top quality care. Thank you!
Dr. Doumas,
I probably should have sent this thank you sooner. However, as I was doing some major rehabilitation on my son’s wooden garage doors last week, (the very garage roof that I fell from, causing catastrophic damage to the bones in my wrist) It occurred to me that it is quite amazing that I was able to do this sanding, staining and polyurethaning, using my left hand. The very hand that you reconstructed using cadaver bones, rods, screws and mostly your knowledge and incredible talent.
I cannot thank you enough for “fixing” my broken bones in a manner that has caused me minimal lose of movement and use. Although there is some restrictive movement, it is not nearly what I had anticipated. I am left-handed which was a bit of a concern after this injury. Just for a brief update: (even though it is closing in on 4 years!). I am a very limited but enthusiastic guitar player. I am able to play more than 95% of my previous ability. Previous to the injury, I obsessively did push-ups, never missing a day up until Sept. 28, 2016- injury date. I actually did 122,500 push-ups the year I turned 60….yes, I counted. At this date in 2020, I have not missed a day of 200+ push-ups each day since January 1.
I could go on with examples of the amazing results of the repair to my mangled wrist, but I will not take up any more of your valuable time. I just wanted to make sure you know how appreciative I am for your work and your talents. You only take a back seat to me thanking God for my recovery!
Thank You very, very much.
May God continue to bless and guide you.
My eight weeks of knee therapy resulted in a significant decrease in pain and better flexibility. I appreciated Jessica’s knowledge and skill and will apply it to a daily exercise regime to strengthen up my legs. The staff was courteous and helpful at all times. I actually enjoyed going to therapy.
